“2026 – Taking More Ground!” by Nancy Dufresne
As we look back over the past year, it was full of God’s goodness. The highlights for this ministry included a five-week European preaching tour, along with our other conferences, Miracle Crusades, and filming 220 episodes for our daily broadcast, Jesus the Healer. God’s goodness and blessings have been so abundant, and we are ever grateful to Him.
As we come into the New Year, I looked to the Lord to see what He would say to us about it. What is in my heart for 2026 is “Taking More Ground!”
“Taking More Ground” is twofold – naturally and spiritually. There are some open doors before us to acquire properties and buildings for the ministry that we are moving toward. Because the ministry is growing, the need for more property and buildings is also growing. (These are projects that we will keep you updated about as they unfold and develop.)
When God delivered His people from Egypt, He gave them a rich land that flowed with milk and honey. All it was waiting for was for them to show up with their faith and take possession of what God had already given.
In God’s plan that He has authored for each of us, He has also fully supplied that plan with everything we will ever need – including buildings, properties, resources, equipment – everything! But that which He has authored and supplied is waiting for our faith to show up and take possession of what He has provided! That’s what 2026 is to demonstrate – “TAKING More Ground!”
Faith doesn’t just sit back and wait for things to show up – it moves toward it! Faith acts, faith makes movement – faith isn’t stationary. We must make movement so that we are giving God something to direct.
Mark 11:24 reads, “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
The New Testament was originally written in Greek, and the Greek word for “receive” in this verse is take! “Believe that you TAKE them, and you shall have them.”
To conduct business with Heaven calls for our faith. Faith takes, faith receives, and faith moves with God, therefore, our faith must be strong to keep pace with God’s plan.
Jude wrote to “earnestly contend for the faith.” That lets us know that there is opposition to our faith. The flow of this world, what we see, feel, and hear, tries to rob us of our faith. To walk by faith is a constant warfare. Not a warfare of fighting the devil, but a warfare that refuses to be swayed off the Word of God.
To have a faith that is “taking more ground,” we must make certain that we continue to do three things: 1) plant, 2) water, and 3) cultivate God’s Word in our heart and mind.
The first time we hear a truth of God’s Word, it is being planted. To hear that same truth repeatedly and meditate on it in our daily life, we are watering it. To protect and do that Word in our everyday life, we are cultivating it. We must protect it from the pests of doubt, unforgiveness, offense, disobedience, bitterness, strife, etc. Then we can expect to reap a harvest when we release our faith. There is no harvest without continuing to plant, water, and cultivate God’s Word in our heart.
It’s not enough that we planted, watered, and cultivated the seed of God’s Word in the past, but we must continue to do it, otherwise there will be no harvest.
In 2026, we aren’t just sitting back and waiting for things to float to us – we are taking what God has provided! We are “Taking More Ground!” We are continuing to plant, water, and cultivate God’s Word in our heart and mind.
We aren’t just taking ground naturally in 2026, but we are also taking more ground in the spirit realm. We are pressing to go into further places of prayer. We are moving with God as He takes us into further rooms of the Spirit, where we will be able to produce more fruit.
What has God put in your heart for 2026? Take it! Take More Ground! Don’t just wait for things to show up – take them! Don’t just want more – take more!
