Teachings from Nancy Dufresne

“In Christ, You Can Do It!” by Nancy Dufresne
In a recent service, Brother Copeland gave a testimony of something God said to him in the 1970s. Brother and Sister Copeland were just learning the principles of prosperity from the Word and were using their faith to get out of debt.
During this time, God spoke to Brother Copeland and said, “I want you to sow $50,000 into Kenneth Hagin’s ministry.” At the time God said this, Brother and Sister Copeland didn’t have in their own resources that amount to give. But when Brother Copeland heard this command from God, he answered, “In Christ, I have it! And in Christ, I can give it!”
Listen to the great skill of that answer! Brother Copeland didn’t answer God based on his own resources, but he answered based on what belonged to him in Christ. In Christ, no need goes unmet. Outside of Christ, he couldn’t give that, but IN Christ, he had it to give!
“Fulfilling God’s Plan, Part 3” by Nancy Dufresne
(Two months ago, we started a three-part teaching on how to fulfill the plan of God. Let’s continue on with that teaching this month.)
Paul finished his course, and in Acts 20, he gives us a divine checklist of the six steps he took to fulfill God’s plan.
“And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:22-24).
In the two previous months, we taught on the first three things Paul did that enabled him to fulfill the will of God and finish his course.

#1 — Bound in the Spirit
“I go BOUND in the spirit unto Jerusalem….” What was “Jerusalem?” The place where God told him to be.
Our “Jerusalem” is the place where God told us to be. Be “bound” inwardly to where God told you to be, and don’t be swayed from it for anything or anyone. (See Part 1 for this complete teaching.)
